I downloaded the program, Family Tree Legends, 5.0, yet every time I try to open it, it doesn't open. Is there something I am doing wrong? The small brown box with Family Tree Legends opens in the middle of my screen and then disappears without opening. Please help me solve this issue. Thank you!

My FTLegends file is totally corrupted and it is not storing the information that I have captured. Where can I find an update?

I just tried to open my Family Tree Legends and got an error message then it quit. (7-18-16) I can't find a website for them anymore, when I type in their website address it get rerouted. Has anyone else had this problem? How do I fix it so I can open the program again? I don't want to lose all the data I've input into the software for years, I can't even open the program to try and export it somewhere else. Help!

Did you ever get an answer to your question? I have the same problem. After an year of more, I decided to get back to working on my family tree (of which I have imputed over 100 relatives) and I can no longer access the site.

Any help is much appreciated.

I would love to download and install Family Tree Legends from their site, but in the agreement section I would have to agree to have yahoo as my main internet provider, with all its stuff attached. I use MSN ONLY...and there is NOWHERE on the page to opt out of one choice for another, or choose not to use that product. BIG MISTAKE for their business - and another sad search that won't work for me. I've lost my family tree on FTL, and now cannot find a new download of FTL so that I can reinstall all my data.
